Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark established herself as one of the top players in the WNBA in her debut season, earning a spot on the All-WNBA first team. However, Clark extends her competitive spirit beyond basketball, most recently to the golf course. After the 2024 season, Clark took part in The ANNIKA pro-am with professional golfers Annika Sorenstam and Nelly Korda. “It was really enjoyable,” Clark remarked after the golf tournament. “Watching (Nelly and Annika) showcase their talents live is something people would pay for.” I was able to do it at no cost and enjoy myself with them. Currently, a little over a month before the 2025 WNBA season, Clark was allegedly seen at what is considered the premier golfing event in the country: the 2025 Masters. As reported by Brad Townsend of the Dallas Morning News, Clark was present at the 2025 Masters in Augusta, Georgia, seen among “Scottie Scheffler’s fans.” Nevertheless, when Clark attempted to get Scheffler’s focus, she was unsuccessful. “Greatness recognizes greatness: Caitlin Clark is a part of Scottie Scheffler’s audience,” Townsend posted on X. “Clark, clad in a white Masters cap and a pink Nike long-sleeve shirt, positioned herself to attract Scheffler’s attention as he exited the first green, but he kept his head down, jotting notes in his yardage book.”

Just like Clark with basketball, Scheffler has risen to be among the most popular golfers of his era. Aiming for his third Masters title in four years, Scheffler also secured his first gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
As training camp approaches at the end of April, Clark seems to have made a last-minute attempt to escape before returning to work. The Fever are now a top contender for the championship due to several player acquisitions and the hiring of Stephanie White as their new head coach.
