Detroit Lions star receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown has gained a reputation for being bold, whether in his fashion choices or his attitude.
However, his usual feistiness is directed at opposing players.
Surprisingly, Lions running back Craig Reynolds admitted on the St. Brown Podcast that he and St. Brown initially disliked each other.
Reynolds recalled first seeing St. Brown in 2021 and immediately disliking his silver hair.
“I thought that s*** was corny, bro,” he said. Coaches praised St. Brown in film sessions, but Reynolds didn’t understand the hype.
“He was cocky, bro. I was like, by the end of the season, I might rumble him… and we play on the same side of the ball,” Reynolds joked.
St. Brown admitted he didn’t like Reynolds at first either. But during a late-season game against Denver, the two bonded over yet another loss in a tough 3-13-1 season.
The clip is hilarious, with both players joking while laughing, a sign of their close friendship.
While things may still look rough for the Lions, it’s great to see how much the team enjoys being around each other.
