Hunter was reticent about the issue, replying, “Next question,” whenever inquired about a particular team meeting.
Nonetheless, New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel inadvertently revealed that Hunter met with at least one team. According to Alex Barth from 98.5 The Sports Hub, Vrabel mentioned on the NFL Network Combine broadcast that the Patriots met with Hunter on Wednesday night.
It is not surprising that the Patriots, who possess the No. 4 overall selection in April’s draft, aim to thoroughly assess Hunter. He could indeed be wearing a Patriots uniform next season if he isn’t picked in the first three choices.
