Success inevitably demands a cost, and another dominant college football program is experiencing it. Similar to other teams that have made it to the College Football Playoff in previous years, this squad is losing numerous important players to the NFL Draft.
The squad is the Texas Longhorns, and their aspirations for a national championship came to an end last Friday after a defeat against Ohio State. Currently, their attention turns to the composition of their roster for the upcoming season, and it’s evident that head coach Steve Sarkisian’s team will possess a distinctly different atmosphere.
Following Texas’ consecutive appearances in the College Football Playoff semifinals, it’s no shock that numerous players are transitioning to the NFL. As of Wednesday, 20 athletes, comprising 15 starters, have announced their intention to enter the draft. Although some have exhausted their eligibility, the majority are departing from school ahead of schedule.
Here is the complete list of individuals who have announced. Players denoted with a * were starters, having participated in five or more games this season, according to the team’s depth chart:

Texas supporters have been closely monitoring every update, and many are understandably upset about the departure of so many essential players.
“There’s a lot of talent out there!” “Wooowww!!!” exclaimed a fan.
“Yes, we are done for.” Who remains? Arch, Wingo, Baxter? ” another person commented.
“We’re not going to have anyone remaining,” another remarked.
“Looks like we’ve truly lost everyone haha,” someone commented.
“Will there be a team remaining next year?” “Goodness gracious,” remarked a supporter.
“Another remarked, ‘The Exodus Persists.'”
